ZEUS---GIANT SCHNAUZER---MALE---3 YRS
Zeus is a 91 lb, male, 3 year old black giant schnauzer. Zeus is housetrained, good on lead, and knows basic commands. He came from a another rescue who told me the following backstory: his original family was a couple, he lived with ferrets, sugar gliders and cats. I am not sure if the couple had dogs, but I was told he was good with dogs.
Zeus is not good with dogs. The couple divorced and the woman took Zeus originally but she got a job with the railroad and was home 1 week a month. Zeus was placed into rescue at that time.
Zeus is a really good dog, totally people oriented and it is believed that Zeus would be protective towards his humans from some of the behaviors noticed. Zeus loves walks and is exuberant in his greetings. Zeus is active, smart and needs an active family or person that will give him a great quality of life.
Zeus is neutered, dewormed, treated to prevent fleas & ticks and is up to date with all his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300 and he'll get a free basic exam at one of our participating vet's offices. If you'd like to adopt Zeus, please email us at: charles@charleshendersonanimalrescue.org
